dimsum Now Supports Chromecast Play Your Favourite Shows on TV instantly

dimsum, the latest subscription video-on-demand service in Malaysia, offering unlimited access to the best Asian content, has now added Chromecast support to its Android and iOS apps. Subscribers can now cast shows and movies on dimsum directly from smartphones, tablets or laptops to television screens.

Chromecast is a media streaming device that plugs into the HDMI port on television sets. The Chromecast feature is available for both Android and iOS devices, as well as Windows 7 or later and Mac OS X 10.9 or above. Subscribers can conveniently cast any content on dimsum from their list of cast-enabled devices to the Chromecast device that seamlessly displays the same content on TV.

Over 80% of dimsum subscribers access their content on their mobile devices and that’s why we are extending these features for our subscribers. They can enjoy premium content in High Definition at an affordable price and stream onto TV. “

During this festive season, dimsum will lineup a series of festive movies and shows. The annual premiere Chinese New Year events in China, 2017 JSBC Countdown Concert, 2017 JSBC Spring Festival Gala and 2017 JSBC Lantern Festival Gala will simulcast on dimsum along with some must-have movies from Stephen Chow, Leslie Cheung and Jacky Chan such as From Beijing With Love, God of Gamblers 2, Hail the Judge, Ninth Happiness, It’s a Wonderful Life, All’s Well End’s Well, Too, My Lucky Star and more. For variety show fans, they will love Super Trio Maximus, Running Man, Touch Screen Cuisine and Feng Shu’s Cooking Class CNY Special.

Other highlights in January include another simulcast from Japan, A Family Goes Job Hunting and a remake of hit Korean drama premiering Malaysia, Pretty Li Hui Zhen.
