dimsum Launches Tablet Version and “Download” Feature for Offline Viewing

dimsum, the latest subscription video-on-demand service in Malaysia, offering unlimited access to the best Asian content, is proud to announce the launch of its tablet version and Offline Viewing feature. Subscribers can now download shows from dimsum to their phones or tablets and watch it later even without an internet connection –  at no extra cost.

Available on smartphones and tablets (for both Android 4.4 and above and iOS7 or later), dimsum subscribers can download up to 10 videos for up to 14 days. This new feature enables subscribers more flexibility to enjoy dimsum whether they are at home or on the go, from any mobile, laptop or tablet devices, with or without internet connection.

During this holiday month, dimsum continues to offer the best Asian content with some well-received Japanese dramas with multilingual subtitles. Besides the simulcast of Doctor-X 4, dimsum will be streaming more series from Japan such as Age Harassment, CSI3, Border, Emergency Interrogation Room, Wise and Foolish, Family Fortune War, It Takes Two, Hello, I Love You as well as real-life experience movies, Love Stories from Fukuoka 2015 and 2016.

dimsum will also stream kids content such as the Robocar Poli, Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf, Bodhi and Friends, Loopy, The Cooking Princess and more.

There is a wide range of variety shows such as the extremely hilarious Crazy Stone Season 1 to 3 and Sabo, mouth-watering cooking show Touch Screen Cuisine and singing show I Can See Your Voice. For documentary lovers, you can travel across Asia on dimsum with the newly added Somewhere Out There, award-winning A Bite of China, Mysterious Xi Xia and Roof of The World. Those who love Asian movies will be thrilled by the selection of action, romance, comedy, horror and classic movies.
